How I feel about this character: K L A U S !! ok we all know he’s an evil little shit and stuff but just FEELS. my headcanon for him (my friends already know because klaus is my boo) is just so creys. he’s the middle child - right smack in between elijah/fin and kol/rebekah. his parents were always either worrying about caring for the little ones or making sure the older ones were out of trouble. he used to be elijah’s favorite…until news of what he ~really~ was came out. and that’s kind of when he went cray. all the pent up loneliness and anger he’d felt at being neglected during childhood just exploded and he was never really close to his siblings again, not that there was much of a link before. the only one who even made the effort to not look at him like a bastard was rebekah and can i just say this sibling-ship is fucking PERFECT. but i’ll get to that in the next part. klaus is so vulnerable to his feelings and no one realizes that most of the things he does are echoes of what happened in his childhood. he makes hybrids because no one was ever like him as a kid, no one ever liked him as a child. poor bb psychopath nik.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: REBEKAH REBEKAH REBEKAH (see: sidebar gif). the intensity between these two (between any of the siblings, really) is so fucking palable that i cannot stand when they’re on screen together. i truly believe that back in their heyday they had a jamie/cersei thing goin’ on. she ~gets~ him like no one else does and it makes me sob like a fucking baby. also, caroline. i don’t ship him with tatia/charlotte, though. rebeklaus is otp for me tyvm. My non-romantic OTP for this character: nik/his brothers. i mean, you could obv call this romantic if thats ur thing but in terms of how i view them? not so much. i just luv elijah/klaus’ dynamics and especially fucking kol/klaus. so many goddamn feels inside of me. ot5 and i talk all the time about how kol is obv a psychopath because welp when elijah said ‘you’ll have kol to deal with’ in 313 klaus gave up pretty easily. also, did you see his fucking face when he realized kol was alive? headcan0ns mayn. klaus was the one to dagger kol last time and i feel like they both have a lot of pent-up rage towards each other that i would LOVE to see on the show. with elijah/klaus its just so sad he just wants to impress his big brother omg creys stap.
My unpopular opinion about this character: i’m not really an unpopular opinion person. i go with the flow on most of people’s opinions — sue me. i guess though rebekah/klaus is otp??? is that an unpopular opinion?????? it shouldnt be x)
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: klaus/rebekah ok. but no really? just some more historical flashbacks because the originals are my lyfe now and i would love to see more klaus/sibling dynamics. sigh.
